All articles on this blog are written by Dr George Efraem Agathokleous — a Chartered Counselling Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Dr George has over 12 years of specialist experience supporting children, adolescents and families across the UK and Cyprus, including doctoral training in NHS Secondary Care settings. He is a published researcher, a former Senior Lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. The articles on this blog draw on that clinical and academic experience to offer parents in Limassol, across Cyprus and internationally the kind of evidence-based guidance that is usually only available inside a consulting room.
