Young People Therapy Programme (for Teenagers 12+)

Young People Therapy Programme

*Available in-person or Online via Zoom

This programme includes 12 weekly therapy sessions designed for teens aged 12+. Each session offers a flexible approach in a confidential, warm, supportive space that helps with personal growth, emotional development, and building important life skills. Throughout the programme, your child will explore their feelings, develop ways to cope, and learn useful tools for dealing with the challenges of being a teenager in a safe, non-judgemental environment.

When adolescents feel truly heard and understood in therapy, they learn to express frustration constructively, share worries openly, and handle peer pressure confidently. Whether your teen needs targeted support or comprehensive mental health intervention we will aim to help them develop essential emotional skills to manage everyday struggles, including:

  • Mood swings and emotional withdrawal

  • Conflicts over schoolwork and academic pressures

  • Social pressures and peer relationships

  • Communication breakdowns within the family

  • Sleep disruption and irregular patterns

Through this programme we'll help your young person:

  • Help them understand and handle their emotions better, responding to feelings in ways that actually work for them

  • Support them through figuring out who they are, making genuine connections with friends, and feeling like they truly belong

  • Help them recognise what makes them special and develop real self-belief that sticks with them

  • Give them tools to think things through and consider what might happen, so they can handle whatever comes their way

  • Encourage self-awareness and help them see how what they do affects themselves and the people around them
